The Hidersine Piacenza Viola outfit, made for the world famous Hidersine company, is a quality instrument for the discerning student. Hidersine instruments are fast becoming recognised for their quality, good sound and consistency of manufacture. The Piacenza Viola has genuine ebony fittings and a tailpiece with integral adjusters. It is set up with synthetic core Hidersine strings and we also offer here the option of further upgrading the instrument with either Prelude, D’Addario Zyex or Dominant strings. It has an oblong styrofoam case with accessory pockets and back straps. Correctly set up in our workshop. Available in 15″, 15.5″ or 16″. This outfit is also available with Wittner Finetune pegs fitted as standard Hidersine Piacenza Viola Outfit set-up by Caswells Strings | We don’t sell different levels of set-up – we believe every instrument should have a gold set-up as standard, not something you have to pay for! Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
