The Hidersine Vivente Cello outfit, sold by one of the worlds favourite orchestral brands, is a superior quality cello outfit designed specifically for the discerning student. The cello has a select straight grained spruce table, flamed maple ribs and back, and ebony pegs and fingerboard. Vivente cellos now come with a Wittner tailpiece with integral adjusters as well as a carbon fibre endpin. The outfit comes complete with a brazilwood bow and a padded bag. The instrument is set up standard with factory fitted strings but we also offer the option here of upgrading to a better, branded string which will further enhance the sound. OPTIONS: Strings: The cello comes set up with the standard factory fitted strings. We do, however, also offer the 3 most common string upgrades here as standard – D’Addario Prelude, Larsen Aurora strings or Jargar strings. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
