The Primavera 90 Cello is an entry level student outfit, designed as a practical package for new students offering a usable level of quality at a sensible price. This instrument is correctly set-up in our workshop with the factory fitted strings but we offer here the option of further enhancing the sound of your cello by upgrading the strings to either D’Addario Prelude or Larsen Aurora strings. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
